It was drizzly and overcast, but the ocean views and mansions along Ocean Drive still looked unbelievable.

Thames Street, the “Main Street” of Newport, was packed despite the weather.

Rhode Island is known for grilled pizza. We scouted Crazy Dough’s Pizza to get our fix. It was delicious. The dough and crust taste crispier and more buttery than NY-style. Although, full disclosure this place gets their grilled pies shipped from HQ in Boston and finishes them in house.
