White Bean & Ham Soup with Hearth Bread

Used dried white beans, frozen ham remnants and homemade chicken stock. To flavor the soup, sauteed vegetables with a ham hock. Included the hock while stewing. Presoaked the beans for a couple of hours and then simmered with the soup for a couple of hours until they stopped floating. Added  chopped ham at the end as it was cooked. Oh yeah, and that’s homemade hearth bread with goat butter to accompany this meal in blizzard weather. Soup proportions are based on recipe from here.
